What do I do if I have a Pet Emergency after hours?

Emergencies can, and do happen all hours of the day, which is why at Tropicana Animal Hospital Emergency care is available during operating hours. 

Do I need to make an appointment?

Whether your are new to our hospital or are a returning client, we ask that you give us a call before coming in (702) 736-4944.  We will do our best to place you with the doctor that treated your pet last.   

If this is an EMERGENCY, please give us a call ASAP (702) 736-4944 so we can make sure to have staff ready to treat your pet.  

If you need to reach us after hours for an Emergency please contact  Animal Emergency Center of Las Vegas and Henderson (702) 457-8050.  They are located at 3340 E. Patrick Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120.

What are the cost for services?

Our Exam fee is $67.00

What forms of payment do you accept?

Debit or Credit with a Visa or Mastercard Logo, cash

Can I make Payments?

Payment is required at the time of service.

Do you take CARE CREDIT?

Our Hospital does NOT offer Care Credit as a form of payment. 

How does PET INSURANCE work?

Pet insurance reimburses the owner after the pet has received care and the owner submits a claim to the insurance company.  Our facility does not have In- House Insurance plans, but we CAN help file claims once services have been paid in full.  Take the time to research various pet policies before choosing the right one for your pet family. 

What do I do if my pet is having surgery?

Prior to surgery, it is important to fast all pets.  Please take away all food, water, and treats no later than midnight the night before.  All pets need to be checked in between 6am and no later than 9am Mon-Sat.  If your pet is on any medications, or has had  complications with anesthesia in the past, please CONTACT your Doctor immediately.
