CT Scan
A computed tomography (CT) scan, also known as a CAT scan, is a non-invasive imaging procedure that uses X-rays and a computer to create cross-sectional images of the inside of the body. The images are taken from different angles and used to create 3-D views of tissues and organs. CT scans are more detailed than standard X-rays and can show images of bones, muscles, fat, organs, soft tissue, and blood vessels.
